The Beaujon Hospital in Clichy

Inaugurated in 1935, designed by architects Urbain Cassan-Louis Plousey and architect-contractor Jean Walter, the first high-rise hospital complex in Europe, Beaujon Hospital (AP-HP) is distinguished by the balance it strikes between international influences stemming from Americanism and the rationalism of French construction culture.
