How to join the EVCAU

Excerpt from the EVCAU internal regulations:
"Applications for membership are open to all permanent, associate, emeritus, and honorary members.
They:
• Must be submitted individually.
• Must be accompanied by a written statement of motivation.

They are subject to approval by vote of the Laboratory Council (CDL) following the procedure below and according to the following schedule:
Each year, two candidate audition sessions are held: one for the June CDL and the other for the October CDL.
-For an interview and admission to EVCAU in June: applications must be submitted before March 31 of the current year.
For an interview and admission to EVCAU in October: applications must be submitted before July 31 of the current year.

Each application for affiliation is reviewed by the CDL by two rapporteurs appointed by the EVCAU management from among the permanent, emeritus, or honorary members of the EVCAU. A discussion (approximately 15 minutes) with the members of the research group in which the researcher wishes to enroll is to be expected. This presentation time will be used for the CDL's deliberations.

After hearing the reports and considering the opinions of its members, the CDL decides:
- Either to accept the applicant as a permanent, associate, emeritus, or honorary member, at the discretion of the CDL, in accordance with the definitions of membership below;

- Or to reject the application, giving reasons.
Membership terms:

•Permanent members: no time limit, as long as members meet the conditions of the IR and are active researchers, participating in research activities and their publication and dissemination.
