Architecture & Intelligence

The Architecture Intelligences Chair is a collaborative research chair between several architectural design laboratories and industrial and institutional partners.
The scientific project of the Architecture & Intelligences Chair has been part of the continuation of the research seminar since 2017: Architecture Intelligence - Research on the impacts of cognitive sciences on the design of architectural projects.

The AI chair develops knowledge, experiments, and the supervision of doctoral students through research contracts, conferences, and publications of this work.
Her core research focuses on the impact of digital technologies on the design, perception, and construction of spaces. Her research themes include: the widespread adoption of Smart Cities; Augmented Design of projects; Connected Housing; the design and development of innovative materials and construction methods; and Metaverses and immersive environments for design, work, and leisure.
The partners of the Architecture & Intelligences Chair are Cap Digital, the association Construire au Futur Habiter le Futur, ICADE, NVIDIA, the Department of Computer Science of École Polytechnique.

Following its participation in the Venice Architecture Biennale on Artificial Intelligence, the Architecture & Intelligence Chair organized the 2nd Architecture & Intelligence Meetings in 2021

In 2022, the Chair established the scientific and thematic network IDSA: Intelligence, Data, Spatialization & Architecture IDSA network, which guarantees the international academic and institutional openness of the work carried out by the Architecture & Intelligences Chair.
