Transversal Review No. 4 - History: architecture, landscape, urban.

Founded in 2016 at the ENSAP (National School of Architecture and Landscape) in Bordeaux and co-published since 2018 by the ENSAP Bordeaux and the ENSA (National School of Architecture) Paris Val de Seine, Transversale is a journal dedicated to promoting research in the history of architecture, landscape, and urbanism. The journal receives support from the UMR-CNRS (National Research Unit - Passages) and the EVCAU (European Center for Urban and Landscape Architecture). Its fourth issue, released in early 2020, focuses on the question: "Constructing a new history of architecture?" In light of the transformations in architectural practice, the architect's expectations of history must be reconsidered. What new avenues and themes have recently emerged? What methods and tools has the historian developed, and to what end? The publication brings together around ten articles from teacher-researchers and students." Contributions from the teacher-researchers of EVCAU: LANGLOIS GA, "Opening", pp 3-7. GRUSON F., "In pursuit of John Summerson", pp 11-20. TOUBANOS D., "The historical evolution of the relationship between architecture and ecology", pp 77-87.
