Designed by architects Louisette Fanjasoa Rasoloniaina and Olivier Walter,
The "Mama Quilla" project proposes a new kind of lunar habitat, designed to support human life in an extreme environment. This biometric prototype draws inspiration from mammalian skin for protection and regulation, with an ecosystemic interior adapted to a low-gravity celestial body. The technologies employed, such as natural air management and porous walls, are both simple and highly innovative. The project received the Jacques Rougerie Foundation's Grand International Prize for Architecture and Innovation in Space in 2024.
Come and discover, through this exhibition, this habitat of the future conceived as an ecosystem.
